ReedBass is no stranger to the various roles a musician has to undertake throughout their career. His skills as a multi-instrumentalist has provided many opportunities to work in a wide range of musical situations, giving him the knowledge and expertise to branch out into other areas of the music industry. Over the last ten years, Reed has been teaching and delivering workshops and masterclasses across the Midlands. Performance as always been a key component of his teaching practice, giving many of his students a platform to perform. This led to him putting on events in various venues across the city for both students and more established artists. Since 2012 Reed has been hosting the Frederick Session in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. With an exciting mix of invited artists, this night has become one of the best live music nights in the city.
